@SticklandeRthe1st true. IF they went there on the eagles they would be ‘air-mailing’ the ring to Sauron. I think Witch-king would take them down by himself. Plus there is another problem: eagles were neutral in war, much like the ents. The eagle that saved Gandalf did so because Gandalf once saved his life and they became friends plus he owed him a favour.Eagles joined fight against Sauron very late, moments before the destruction of the ring.Ghost army would be a better idea
@SticklandeRthe1st Actually, no. The nazgûl were created after the battle on the watchtower when frodo entered rivendel, and sauron didnt want to use them because it was his secret.
ever since i saw the movie i always thought of so many better alternates as to way they could have done this and this actullay one of the ways i thought of
@TheMunk84 i have absolutely no idea why you responded to my post. i posted about the silmarillion which clearly shows that i thoroughly enjoy lord of the rings. carry on.
@SticklandeRthe1st thats what i thought….but then couldnt u just bring like 50 of those birds coz there seemed to be a very limited amount of the nazul…..just sayin
@SticklandeRthe1st I still can’t believe he had only 3 eagles, like seriously…there are millions of birds in the world, that’s an army right there:)))

Heres an idea. why not just throw the ring in a random volcano? i mean it might not destroy it but at least nobody can ge it either.
