Smiley face? Not funny. Buy 10 copies… not funny. Stay off TV and radio, stay away from improv, just stick to whatever it is you’re doing. I don’t care what it is, I never wanna hear from or ever think about you again.

  6. Solareffects Says:

Cenk, Larry Doyle IS the capitalist scum bag douche that doesn’t give a fuck about the average Joe som’of’a'bitch you keep talking about. Just cause he writes for Simpsons doesn’t make him OK. Did you even listen to what he said in the interview?

  7. ianw115 Says:

@dEdGrimley People who watch the show? I don’t get it, what’s your point?

  8. dEdGrimley Says:

    @ianw115
Lol dude, who makes the lists? Case rested.

  9. ianw115 Says:

@dEdGrimley It’s not a matter of “being a fanboy,” it’s a matter of looking realistically at what’s being made nowadays. Go look at almost any list online of “best episodes” and you won’t find a single one made in the last 10 years. You can just say random lines from old episodes like “dental plan” or “it tastes like burning” or “boo-urns” and people will recognize them instantly… say a line from an episode two weeks ago and you’ll get blank stares.

How much did Simpsons writers make 20 years ago when the series still mattered?

  12. defyingcredentials Says:

I still love the Simpsons more than any other adult cartoon.

That’s all I can stands, I cant stands no more

  14. dEdGrimley Says:

As it turns out, there’s still a lot to enjoy on The Simpsons for a lot of people. I’ve been a lifelong fan, and I’m not being a nerdy fanboy who hates everything that isn’t between seasons 4-8 or whatever, and there are plenty of episodes that I can say, “That wasn’t very good”. Objectively speaking, it’s as good as ever, it’s still full of good, quality satire, and if you don’t like it, fine, but don’t be a fanboy who hates on everything that isn’t from your favorite season.

  15. flatbunny Says:

For the crap they produce now any amount is too much.

  16. OccamsView Says:

Doyle is about as funny and spontaneous as desk lamp. The Simpsons are a dilapidated zombie corpse that just won’t die.

  17. fret2424 Says:

The Simpsons hasn’t been funny in like 10 years. I can’t believe it’s still on the air. The new Futurama episodes have been kinda a miss to.

  18. Turkiyey Says:

@zaggers77 hhaa noo it actually isn’t. But if there are no simpsons anymore then something would be missing. They basicly have the right not to be funny anymore just if its still the simpsons.

  19. jimmypubeface23 Says:

the uk is full of mutants these days.

  20. zaggers77 Says:

Starting at 250,000 dollars a year. What…the Simpsons hasn’t been funny in years.

  21. RebelHQ Says:

idk what to say but I feel like I should comment anyway…

  22. NoDropLS Says:
