When people ask that question, I think they mean ‘what was it like to have an episode of the simpsons that honors you?’ Everyone else in the world except you and the other 26 non-simpsons fans would be ecstatic! I love ya Penn. I think you’re right about P.E.T.A., you’re on the ball about religion but when it comes to the simpsons…D’oy!
Much respect man. I love these Penn Points!

I am now going to sell a ‘Be on The Simpsons’ kit. It will contain headphones, toilet paper roll, a stick, and a random page of copy. It will sell for $199.
I’ll make a fortune.

So Penn, what’s the weather like in Springfield? Is Marge nice in real life? She always seemed kind of stuck up on the show. What about Chief Wiggam, is he really dumb or is it just an act?

Anyone who has seen Light Years knows what Teller sounds like…and knows Penn can make his voice even deeper and kinda creepy.

Penn,
You didn’t understand the question- you’re thinking to literally. They want to know how you reacted to reading a script you didn’t write. They wondered if you met the other voice talent (you tell us you didn’t). They want to know how if *felt* to then see yourself rendered in animation. I am going to have to go out on a limb, and state that, without a doubt, nobody who asked you that thought you went to Springfield.

how was it to see your self in such a popular and classic show as the simpsons?
September 2nd, 2010 at 2:17 am
really good video penn.

I believe the only time I ever heard Teller speak was on a video tape of a performance his band did. We’re maybe going back 15yrs at least. I just recall him going off on some heckler in the audience. Then again, maybe I just imagined it.

never thought penn woult ruin the magic of something

I would imagine people asking that question, means: “How does it feel like being portrayed in The Simpsons?” – Someone said (don’t remember who) that you don’t really know you’re a part of popular culture, before they mentioned you on The Simpsons.
South Park do their own animation in the US, while The Simpsons is animated in South Korea. They even made fun of that themselfs in an episode.
