    Michael was only shy around people that didn’t know him. Why would people be horrified about a celebrity being shy? His whole family was on the shy side accept maybe his father. MJ loved cartoons and animation. The Simpsons wasn’t his only love. He loved all of Walt Disneys works too. He was Captain EO for Disney for years.

    Listen to that “ooooo” at 5:15 ! The audience didnt like how they were trashing MJ.

  3. hybridlio Says:

    @jan5262 TOTALLY AGREE
    he horrified a lot of people by his shyness and he must have had this staring gaze… michael jackson quiet in a room… thrilling. (of course he was very clever and even an intellectual. very young he was (maybe too much) wise. i think he was the best guest, alos bc he loved the series so much he asked to make an appearance in it.

    I think the actors(voice actors) had more respect for MJ than the writers did. It’s a shame that Yeardley was the ONLY one there.

  6. MyMichaeljackson1980 Says:

    i can’t believe that michael jackson was on the simpsons

  7. DJEMMEY25 Says:

    The woman that does lisa’s voice, her real voice sounds much the same as lisa lol

  8. matthieus2 Says:

    @jan5262 I get that impression too. One thing I like about this interview is that it confirms it really was Michael’s voice in the episode. Because it was billed as someone else and a different guy did the singing I remember having arguments with my brothers as no one believed it really was Michael Jackson. R.I.P Michael. Such a hero.

  9. XxGaarasGirlxX Says:

    …….wait, what? I thought they liked him. I like when people poke fun out of me, my favourite musicians/bands, actor/ress, shows, I find it fun and funny……but here it seems a little more like bitching. Maybe it’s just difference in sense of humor?

    I bet you all, to this day, these people probably felt a little bit of guilt for saying it.

    You know hybridlio, you write like you’re British. You have a weird perception of people. Your psychological analyses of MJ is so far reaching. How is having an exceptional aura comparable with shyness?

    @HappyThoughts66 its Vitiligo just wanna tell u that knot being rude

  12. omarofuae Says:

    LOL @ MJ SO FREAKING FUNNY!!!

  13. hybridlio Says:

    @jan5262 oh, we just agree! i commented something that actually happened. it doesn’t mean i understand that fear: why would they be horrified, it’s their problem and it’s bad for them lol. he didn’t have anything to do with that. on the contrary, it proves the exceptionnal aura of his.

  14. MyPersonalVendetta Says:

    @mangusti8…Trashing him? Hwll, they weren’t even harsh. They just made a couple jokes and that was it. You Michael Jackson lovers are getting all butthurt over nothing.

  15. MyPersonalVendetta Says:

    @Jey00123…Sensitive, are we?

  16. PlasmaArmada Says:

    @jan5262 naw…he’s DEAD

  17. Roxa113 Says:

    could someone tell me what year is this interview?
    please

  18. Mickey200916 Says:

    Sorry the comment about Michael’s skin color was not funny at all. Very offensive and even the audience didn’t like it.

  19. pbishurt Says:

    @jan5262 so you have been in his house? poor child

  20. pepmaster Says:

    i just want to say, the cast and writer are completely entitled to their own opinion…they actually had the chance to meet and work with MJ (which is more than anyone here could say)…and the fact that you may not agree with their opinions is completely understandable…what you know of MJ is completely based on what the media has said or written about him…and whatever anyone’s opinion of MJ is…it will be something subjective and never right or wrong…dont reprimand them…

  21. lorrr55 Says:

    I read a few comments and I just started laughing so hard at the fact that people have the attitude that now that MJ is dead it’s not funny anymore. Where were you defending MJ when he was still alive? Fucking hypocrites.

  22. LukeDobbins Says:

    Thats not very nice what they said about MJ. -_- Im dissapointed in them, I love The Simpsons, I thought they would be a bit more respectful.

  23. ItsJustHumanNature Says:

    @Mickey200916 I agree with you completely on that one. And yeah i heard the audience too, go audience!

  24. ItsJustHumanNature Says:

    thats so unfair about what they said bout MJ, if i was sitting next to him man i would have so many questions to ask, and they just expected him to try and make conversation. And also what they said about him being white, i actually liked the Simpsons and thought the writers would be more thankful and starstruck to have him on their show.
    Love u MJ xx

  25. iiloveyyou1 Says:

    They Have NO IDEA.. How LUCKY They Were To Even Have Michael In Their Show…
    No You Know What I Take That Back… What I Really Mean Is… They Have NO IDEA Of How Luckyy They Were To Even Get To Meet Michael.

    I Would Pay A Million Of Dollars Just To See Him.

    RIP MJ.
